As Within, So Without

As Within, So Without...I have always heard this saying and although I understand its meaning, applied in life, it is hard to be conscious of.
Understanding that what you carry inside is reflected in your life is hard to accept, even more when things aren't how you wanted them to be.
For my part, every day I try to work on those things that are inside me that I want to improve and change in my life. It hasn't been easy, but I understand that consistency leads you to the results you expect.
When I painted this piece, I had this saying very much in mind and my intention is to reflect through it the beauty that we all carry inside us.
